Dean Clark

The Saskatchewan Wildlife Artists welcomed Dean Clark as a new member in the spring of 2018.

Dean retired after spending over thirty years  as the director of Heritage Resource Management programs for the governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan.

He then spent many summers hail adjusting and winters in Mexico and B.C. It was on Vancouver Island where he developed an interest in the rich heritage of West Coast Indigenous art. Because of that  interest he is now creating paddles with west coast animal themes in his workshop at Emma Lake, Saskatchewan.
