Lola Hingtgen

Lola was born and raised on a farm in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan. It was there that she developed her love of wildlife and the outdoors.

Later, with two grown children she was looking for a hobby and started taking art classes in watercolour. Later that year she was encouraged by her art teacher and close friends to enter the Reflections of Nature Art Show. She received her first ribbon at that show which sparked her enthusiasm. Lola soon experienced an even greater thrill of selling her first painting. Over the years She has won numerous awards at the show.

Lola works with pen and ink, scratch board and pastels. She is a member of SWAA and part of the committee for Reflections of Nature Art Show which is held every year in October.
